What are export credits + why do we have them?
Export credits correspond to the amount of data that can be exported from Beauhurst on a monthly basis.
On-platform usage is unlimited! You can run as many searches and view as many profiles as needed - we only place restrictions on exports from the platform.
How do they work?
Export credits are used when downloading data from the platform - this can happen in two ways:
1- Exporting to a CSV
When exporting information on a list of companies, whether from Advanced Search or from a Collection, each row in the spreadsheet will correspond to one credit.
A list of 100 companies, for example, will remove 100 credits from a subscription's monthly balance.
2- Downloading a chart or graph
All on-platform visualisations are exportable, in both PNG and CSV formats, with a cost of one credit each, regardless of the number of companies feeding into the dataset.
✨Top Tip!✨ To ensure that you use your credits effectively and consistently, try the new Export Templates!
Who can use them?
A subscription will have a set amount of export credits on a monthly basis, and will be shared across all users on the account.
These export credits will reset on the first day of the month, and cannot be carried over from month to month.
You can check how many export credits you have left each month, by looking at the bottom of the screen when exporting to a CSV.
If you are the Administrator on the account, you can hover over your name in the top right of the screen, and go to Subscription Settings. From here, you’ll be able to see how many you have on a regular, monthly basis, how many you have left this month, and an Export Credit Statement, outlining who and when has used export credits recently.
Need more Export Credits?
If you are running out of export credits before the end of the month, speak to your Account Manager, whose contact details can be found in the Help tab in the top right of your screen.
They’d be more than happy to discuss the best solution for you, whether that be additional credits, exploring our API, or an alternative tailored solution for you.
