Family-Owned / Family-Run / Owner Managed Businesses
The above searches for companies that are active, which also:
have never had equity fundraising
have a founder who is still actively part of the business day-to-day
has only human shareholders, not funds or corporate or holding companies etc.
We could also add on that the company has a director, who is also a shareholder.

Companies who have been advised by X
There's no on platform search query that we can build to find this currently, but we can export information on transactions, to see who the advisors were (if we can pick up on this data).
Here's a video outlining how you can do this, and the search used for this:
Ageing Director / Founder
The above search looks for companies with a director, who:
is still an active director
is over the age of 60
has been a director for more than 5 years.
Like before, we could also add that this director is also a shareholder.
Since there are so many results of the above search, we'd recommend that you add further criteria to this search, before trying to add these companies to a collection (eg. location, signals, Industries, financials...)
Female-Founded / Female-Powered
Search Criteria Links:
Female Founded Companies
The above search looks at companies with at least one Female founder, who is still actively part of the business.
Female Powered Companies
Charities / Community Interest Companies (CICs)
Search Criteria Links:
The first search listed above looks for companies with "CIC" within their name, CIC being short for Community Interest Company.
The latter of the above searches looks for charities by the way that they have filed with Companies House. Entities that can file this way include charities, CICs, schools, academies and universities, amongst more.
Foreign-Owned Businesses // Business with International Links
Search Criteria Links:
At least 50% of the company's income is derived from exporting.
