Intro to Innovate UK Grant Search
Intro to Innovate UK Grant Search

Access our full Innovate UK Grant database and search for specific projects and participants, and view University league tables.

Updated this week

Our Innovate UK Grant Search page allows you to search specifically for any Innovate UK grant that has been awarded since 1999.

Separate to Advanced Search, it allows you to filter for grants using IUK specific criteria, rather than our Beauhurst filters, for example:

  • IUK Sector

  • Scheme

  • Date

  • Total Grants

  • Keywords

In addition to searching for specific projects, you can also search for project participants, including both companies and Universities.

Both of these searches are explored in more detail in the video below:

Note: If are interested in generating a list of companies based on any specific IUK Grants they have received, this may be easier to achieve via the Advanced Search. Head to our dedicated section in the Help Centre to find out more.

Navigating to IUK Grant Search

Hover over the 'Search' drop down, and click on 'Innovate UK Grant Search' which is the third item in the drop down menu:

Searching for IUK Projects

Once you reach the IUK Grant search page, you can select various filters down the left hand side, for example you can search for KTPs specifically:

Alternatively, you could search for projects that fall within a particular Innovate UK Sector to narrow down your results, or search by using a keyword that might appear in the project abstract:

Searching for IUK Participants

This searches above are all currently set to look for the projects themselves, but you can also search directly for the participants (either the company or the academic institution):

This then brings up some new filters for you to search over, allowing you to search by the name of the participant, or the region they are based in, as well as whether or not they are a university or company:

For example, if we search for all Academic participants in the East Midlands, we are left with 12 very clear results, which you can then export to a CSV:
