The "Map" tab in Advanced Search presents all the companies which fit your search criteria in a map visual across the UK.

The key feature to be aware of in this tab:

Present by Heat Map or Location Map

Heat map represent quantity by colour, whereas the location map will mark the head office location of that company with a dot. You have the choice to view the map in whichever format is easiest for you:

With the Heat Map, you can choose to break down by Country, Region (default), Local Authority, and Local Enterprise Partnership:

With the Location Map, you can click each circle to view company Head Offices or Registered Addresses right down to street level:

Finally, you can download a PNG of each map with the button to the left of the page:
