The Collections feature allows you to upload a list of companies into Beauhurst. You will then be able to monitor company activity, run search queries over the list, or simply export the companies from the platform as an enriched dataset.
First, navigate to My Beauhurst → My Collections
Click Create collection, towards the top-right of the page, to create a blank list
Select Company and give your collection a name, purpose, and/or description
Follow the steps in the Collection Creation helper to set your desired email alerts and sharing permissions, then click Create collection.
Once you reach the screen below, select View collection. You will then be prompted to upload your list of companies.
You can upload companies to your list using one of two options:
Paste companies - Paste a list of company names directly into the text box
Upload file - Upload a CSV or TXT file which contains either the company names, Companies House ID, or company website addresses. Any of these options will work well, but the more details you have, the faster the matching process will run!
If you choose to use a CSV or TXT file, upload your file and click Next. You will then be asked a few questions by the prompt to help our matching algorithm understand the format of your file.
Assign each column to Company name, Companies House ID, or Company website, where applicable.
The algorithm will then attempt to match your list of companies with their profiles on Beauhurst. Once completed, you will be presented with the results from the upload, which will flag any unmatched companies
Click Finish and you’re done!
